We employed Stephen Carrick-Davies as a consultant for ictQATAR in 2012 to help us develop our National Cyber Safety Strategy. This 6 month project involved Stephen producing a strategic vision document and a full implementation work plan. What we particularly appreciated about Stephen’s approach was that he took the time to consultant carefully with a very wide range of different stakeholders here in Qatar - including running sessions with pupils in local schools - so as to understand the particular cultural sensitivities and dynamics here in Qatar. Bringing together a diverse range of stakeholders to consult, agree and then fully ‘own’ the strategy was what has made this piece of work particularly effective.
